Colt is a very versatile German Shepherd. Anyone who has seen him work or has worked him can attest to this dogs workability. Colt is the perfect example of what the breed should entail. He's biddable, confident, and has a great off switch. He has full calm grips since a puppy & high prey drive.
We are excited to have Colt as our foundation stud here at Vom MontHaus. Colts career in PSA started at the young age of 10 weeks old. His first showing was when he was 14 months at Tampa Bays Regional Trial, where he showed under Judge Joe Parks for the first time ever in the PDCs. Colt walked away with the hight PDC score out of 8 dogs and gave a really nice showing for the first time on the field. Fast forward 3 months and we showed in the Level 1s for the first time back at Tampa Bay PSA under Judge Janet Edwards. Colt walked away with the first leg of his PSA 1, as well as first place and won the High Handler Owner Trainer & High Owner Club Trained for the weekend.
Colt achieved the first leg of his PSA2 at our co hosted trial October 2021! He got a combined score of 297 with an 89.5 in obedience and a 207.5 in protection. He took home high obedience and high protection of the 2 day trial and placed 3rd in his first regional event.
2022 South Regional Champion, closing out his Level 2 title! We are excited to start our journeys in the Level 3!
